The Drop Button
While playing online rummy, every player has to join a table to start playing. When you do so, you will find a DROP button at the corner of the table. When you click on this button, it will allow you to drop out of the game which is going on. Various situations can arise when you choose this option. They are mentioned below.
First Drop
Whenever there is a very less probability to win the game, any player can select the Drop option. This will drop you out of the game. This can come in handy when the cards dealt to you aren’t good. You can give up the round in your first turn. This is a safer option than playing with bad cards. Although it costs you some penalty, the penalty will be much lesser than what you could possibly loose by going ahead with the dealt bad cards. The first drop costs you a small penalty of 20 points.
Second Drop
The second drop occurs when you choose to use the drop button any time after picking a card. This option can be chosen if you lose interest in the game or if something urgent comes up & you can’t continue the round. The second drop costs you 40 points.
Consecutive Misses
While playing online rummy, whenever a player knowingly or unknowingly misses three consecutive turns, he/she is automatically dropped from the game.
Open Deck
The open deck section shows all the cards that are discarded by the players during their turn. You can get the idea of the opponent’s sequence from the discarded cards. Players can also use this section to pick cards, if they find something of their use.
Bonus Cards
Bonus cards are trump cards that players receive. There are printed jokers as well as wild jokers. You should make sure that you do not forget the joker card and miss it. These joker cards act as the replacement of other cards & can be used in the making of sets as well as impure sequences.
