The Drop Button
While playing online rummy, every player has to join a table to start playing. When you do so, you will find a DROP somewhere on the table. When you click on this button, it will allow you to drop out of the game which is going on. Various situations can arise when you choose this option. They are mentioned below.
First Drop
Whenever there is a very less probability of winning the game, any player can select the Drop option. This will drop you out of the game. At a certain point, when you receive a bad hand, you can drop yourself out of the game even when it is your first turn, and you have not even picked one card. This is a safer option though it costs you some penalty. The first drop costs you a small penalty of 20 points.
Middle Drop
The middle drop occurs when you choose to use the drop button after the first turn of cards. The penalty for the middle drop is also double the penalty for the first drop. The second drop costs you 40 points. However, the drop points differ in the case of Pool Rummy.
Consecutive Misses
While playing online rummy, whenever a player misses three consecutive turns, he/she is automatically dropped out of the game.
Discard Section
The discard section shows all the cards that are thrown into the open pile by the players. You can get the idea of the opponent’s sequence from the discarded cards.
Open Deck
It is a section where all players throw their unnecessary cards at the center of the table. A player can pick up the cards from the open pile that has been discarded by the opponent who played before him.
Bonus Cards
Bonus cards are trump cards that player receives. There are printed jokers as well as wild jokers. You should make sure that you do not forget the joker card and miss it.
